Welcome to Arabian Scent. This Shipping Policy is designed to provide you with complete transparency regarding our shipping processes, costs, and responsibilities. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently specialize exclusively in the United States market. We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Hawaii and Alaska.

  • International Shipping: At this time, we do not ship to international destinations, U.S. territories (e.g., Guam, Puerto Rico), or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

2. Product Pricing & Currency

All prices on our website are displayed and processed in United States Dollars (USD). Prices for our premium fragrances are subject to change without notice, but the price at the time of purchase is guaranteed.

3. Shipping Rates

To keep things simple for our customers, we offer a flat rate shipping fee of $6.99 USD on all orders, regardless of the number of items or the weight of the package.

5. Order Cut-Off Time

Our daily order cut-off time is 2:00 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles), Monday through Friday.

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles) will begin processing on the same business day.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles), or on weekends/federal holidays, will be processed starting the next business day.

6. Order Processing Time

We pride ourselves on efficiency. Our standard processing time is 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday). During this window, we conduct

  • Payment verification and fraud screening.
  • Detailed quality inspection of the fragrance bottle and packaging.
  • Secure labeling and hand-off to our shipping carriers.

7. Delivery Time

Once your package leaves our Sacramento facility, the transit time is 2–3 business days (Monday–Friday).

  • Total Delivery Timeline (processing + transit): From the moment you click "Buy" to arrival at your door, you can typically expect your package in 3–5 business days (Monday–Friday).

8. Tracking Information

Transparency is key. Once your order has been scanned by the carrier:

  • You will receive an automated shipping confirmation email within 24–48 hours of order placement.
  • This email will contain a tracking link and number (USPS or UPS) to monitor your delivery in real time.

9. Packaging & Order Protection

Perfumes and Ouds are delicate items. We use double-walled boxes, industrial-grade bubble wrap, and "Fragile" handling stickers to ensure your bottle arrives without leaks or cracks. Each shipment is packed to withstand the rigors of transit.

10. Address Accuracy & Verification

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address (including apt/suite numbers).

  • Our system performs a basic address verification. If our system flags your address as "Invalid," we will contact you via email, which may delay shipping.
  • Arabian Scent is not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

11. Order Cancellation

We move fast! If you change your mind, you must request a cancellation at info@royaloudusa.com within 24 hours of placing your order.

  • If the order has already been processed or shipped within those 24 hours, we cannot cancel it. In this case, you must follow our return policy.

12. Change of Shipping Address

Address changes are permitted only within the first 24 hours of order placement. Once a tracking number has been generated, we can no longer redirect the package.

13. Failed Delivery / Missed Attempts

We want to ensure your luxury fragrance reaches you safely. In the event that the carrier (USPS/UPS) is unable to deliver the package due to no one being available or a lack of a secure delivery location:

  • Carrier Notification: The carrier will typically leave a "Notice of Delivery Attempt" with instructions for rescheduling the delivery or picking up the package at a nearby local post office or carrier facility.
  • Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned to our warehouse as "Undeliverable" or because it was "Refused" by the recipient, we will notify you immediately via email.
  • Refund Policy for Returned Orders: Once the returned package is received and inspected at our facility, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. Unlike many other retailers, Arabian Scent does not charge a restocking fee or deduction for returned-to-sender packages.
  • Re-shipping: If you would like us to ship the item again, please contact us at info@royaloudusa.com. You may be asked to verify your shipping address to ensure successful delivery on the second attempt.

14. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival.

  • Damage Claims: If your bottle is broken or leaking, you must notify us at info@royaloudusa.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Requirement: Please include your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and the original packaging.

15. Lost or Delayed Packages

While we are not responsible for carrier delays (weather, high-volume holidays, etc.), we will act as your advocate.

  • If your tracking has not moved for more than 7 business days, please contact us.
  • We will open an investigation with the carrier before issuing a replacement or refund.

16. Delivery Confirmation

When a carrier marks a package as "Delivered," it is legally considered delivered to the customer.

We are not responsible for "porch piracy" or theft of packages after they have been confirmed as delivered. We recommend shipping to a secure location or an office address if you are concerned about theft.

17. Sales Tax (VAT)

In compliance with California and U.S. state laws, sales tax will be automatically calculated and applied at checkout based on your specific shipping address.

18. Customer Responsibilities

By shopping with us, the customer agrees to:

  • Provide a safe and accurate delivery location.
  • Monitor tracking emails to ensure someone is available for delivery.
  • Report any issues (damage/incorrect items) within the mandatory 48-hour window.

  • Authenticating every product before shipment.
  • Securely packing items to prevent transit damage.
  • Dispatching orders within the promised 1–2 business day processing window.

20. Invoices & Documentation

To reduce paper waste, a digital invoice is sent to your email. A physical packing slip (without pricing) is included in the box, making our packages perfect for gifting.

21. Sustainability & Packaging

We utilize recyclable cardboard and minimize the use of non-recyclable plastics wherever possible, without compromising the safety of the fragile glass bottles.

22. Security & Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers, we use industry-standard fraud detection. If an order is flagged as high-risk (e.g., mismatching IP addresses or suspicious credit card activity), we may hold the order for 48 hours to verify identity.
