Refund policy

At Arabian Scent, operated by MahazZahid LLC, we take pride in the quality of our luxury fragrances. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help you navigate the return process.

1. Return Window

We offer a 14-day return window. You have 14 calendar days from the date your item was delivered to request a return. If 14 days have passed since your delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund.

2. Exchange Policy

To maintain efficiency and ensure our customers get exactly what they want, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.

3. No Restocking Fee

Unlike many luxury retailers, we do not believe in penalizing our customers. There is no restocking fee for items returned in accordance with our eligibility requirements.

4. Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • It must be in the original packaging (including shrink wrap, if applicable) with all seals intact.
  • Fragrances that have been sprayed or tested are not eligible for return due to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is mandatory.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: For standard returns (e.g., "changed my mind"), the customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item.
  • Our Responsibility: If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item), we will provide a prepaid shipping label.
  • Note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

6. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number and the reason for the return.
  3. Once your return is authorized, we will send you instructions on where and how to send your package.

7. Return Methods

We recommend using a trackable shipping service (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and a trackable method protects you in case of loss during transit.

8. Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed immediately.
  • The funds will be credited to your original method of payment within 7 business days.

9. Customer Responsibility

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the item is securely packed for the return journey. Items that arrive back to us damaged due to poor packaging will not be eligible for a full refund.

10. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Inspecting all returns within 48 hours of arrival.
  • Communicating clearly with the customer regarding the status of their refund.
  • Processing approved refunds within the promised 7-day window.

12. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Please include photos of the damaged bottle and the shipping box.
  • We will issue a replacement or a full refund (including shipping costs) for verified errors on our part.

13. Lost Parcel Policy

If your tracking info shows "Delivered" but you haven't received the package, please contact the carrier first. If a package is confirmed lost by the carrier before delivery, we will issue a full refund or a replacement.

14. Order Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase. Once the order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be handled as a return.

15. Lost or Missing Returns

If a return package is lost while in transit to us, the customer must file a claim with the carrier they used. We can only issue refunds for items that physically arrive at our warehouse.

16. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

17. Items Returned Without Approval

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via email will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

18. Policy Abuse Prevention

We monitor return activity for abuse. If we notice a pattern of repeated returns or fraudulent behaviour, we reserve the right to flag or block accounts from future purchases.

19. Fraud, Abuse & Safety Protection

To protect our community, we do not accept returns on items that have been tampered with or diluted. Every returned bottle undergoes a specialized inspection to ensure the product is original and safe.
