Because of this efficiency, the window for cancelling an order is limited. Please read our policy carefully to understand how you can cancel your order and what conditions apply.
1. Cancellation Window
We offer a 24-hour cancellation window.
- If you change your mind or need to cancel for any reason, you must contact us at info@royaloudusa.com within 24 hours of placing your order.
- If 24 hours have passed, or if the order has already been marked as "Shipped" within that timeframe, the order cannot be cancelled. In such cases, you must follow our return policy once the package arrives.
2. How to Request a Cancellation
To ensure your request is processed before the order is dispatched, please follow these steps:
- Email Us: Send an email to info@royaloudusa.com.
- Subject Line: Use the subject "ORDER CANCELLATION: [Your Order Number]."
- Details: Clearly state your name and the reason for cancellation.
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.
3. Orders Already Processed or Shipped
If you request a cancellation after your order has been processed or handed over to our shipping carriers (USPS/UPS), we cannot stop the delivery.
- Do not "refuse" the delivery, as this may lead to the package being lost.
- Instead, accept the delivery and contact us to initiate a standard return according to our 14-day Return Policy.
4. Cancellation Fees
At Arabian Scent, we do not charge any cancellation fees if the request is made within the 24-hour window. You will receive a 100% full refund to your original payment method.
5. Refund Process for Canceled Orders
Once a cancellation is confirmed:
- We will initiate the refund immediately.
- The funds will return to your original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc.).
- Depending on your financial institution, it may take 7 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
6. Cancellation by Royal Oud USA (Fraud & Inventory)
We reserve the right to cancel an order at our discretion under the following circumstances:
- Inventory Issues: In the rare event that an item is out of stock or damaged before shipping.
- Pricing Errors: If a product was listed at an incorrect price due to a system error.
- Fraud Prevention: If our system flags an order as "high risk" or fraudulent (see our Payment Policy).
- In all these cases, you will be notified via email and issued a full refund immediately.
7. Changes to an Existing Order
If you need to change the shipping address or item quantity instead of canceling the entire order, please notify us within the same 24-hour window. After 24 hours, we cannot guarantee any modifications.
8. Policy Abuse
To maintain a fair shopping environment, we monitor for cancellation abuse (e.g., repeatedly ordering and canceling). We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who frequently abuse the cancellation window.
